8 Things That Productive Moms Do In The Morning
Before I talk about productive things to do in the morning I firstly want to mention that we all have different routines. There are however some of us that like to stay busy and thrive in a routine environment, but not everybody does. Some people will wake up in the morning with a burst of energy (that’s me) while other may prefer to sleep a bit longer or hit the snooze button. If you would call yourself a productive mom I have listed 7 things for you to do in the morning.
1. Make Up Your Bed
It doesn’t matter if you get out of bed an hour or 5 minutes before your day starts, always try to make up your bed. Your mother wasn’t trying to be funny when she told you to do so. There are many benefits involved. A neat and tidy room does not only look good it also feels good. Making up your bed in the morning will reduce your stress levels and improve your mood. The best part of all is when you get home in the evening your bed will be there nice and tidy and ready for you to enjoy a good night’s rest.
2. Clean Kitchen Counter
Nobody wants to come home after a long day at work to a dirty kitchen and a pile of dishes touching the kitchen roof. When you are busy packing in everyone’s lunch for the day remember to clean afterwards. And spritz something nice in the air. If you don’t find the time to do it in the morning, do it the previous night. I can guarantee you your day will go much better.

3. Cup Of Coffee First
Oh the joy of a cup of coffee! Especially in the morning. Nothing beats that first cup of coffee or tea of the day. Make it just the way you like it – foamy, with or without milk and sprinkle some cinnamon and love on top. The coffee will give you a nice kick start for the day. Go productive moms!
4. Eat A Healthy Breakfast
Grab a bowl of your favorite cereal. Eating breakfast is extremely important. It gives you energy, a better mood and increased brain activity. Take note that certain breakfasts are healthier than other. I am not saying that you can’t eat a full plate of eggs, bacon, toast and sausage on the side, but all bran is on top of the list and it will give you energy that lasts longer. Remember to grab a full glass of water.
5. Open The Blinds
There is a lot that a breath of fresh air and sunshine can do. It strengthens your immunity, fuels your digestive system and gives you a clear and sharp mind. When the sun shines everyone is happy. Sunshine provides you with Vitamin D essential for an improved mood and other benefits.
6. Say A Prayer
Take time to say your prayers in the morning. You are blessed with another beautiful day. A positive and thankful mindset will help you to focus better during the day. My favorite motto is “You only live once” We should always make the best out of every situation coming our way.
7. Get Moving
Your muscles will get stiff and sore during the night. So it is a great idea to stretch from head to toe when you wake up in the morning. If you have extra time go for a brisk walk or jog around the block. It will help you get rid of unnecessary tension and make you feel more relaxed.
8. Good Morning Texts
Send a good morning text to your friends and family and wish them a nice day. This will remind them that they are important to you and will put a smile on your face.
